As a knowledgeable fitness professional with experience running two Snap Fitness locations, Kim Robinson was no stranger to cardio before Sprint 8.
Prior to starting the interval training regime, Kim was focused on endurance and distance running. A marathoner motivated by a challenge known to her members as the “Energizer Bunny,” Kim tested out Sprint 8 when training for Mrs. Kentucky. “My goal was to lean out as much as possible,” Kim says. Looking to see real results, Kim started the pre-programmed, 20-minute workouts on a Matrix Ascent Trainer.
“Sprint 8 was a complete game changer,” Kim says. She added Sprint 8 to her training, using the program three to four times a week for the first four months. “I’ve leaned out, maintained it, and my endurance has improved.”
Kim’s experience with Sprint 8 drives her to discuss the results with members and visitors of her gyms. The intuitive program is introduced to everyone who enters the club, and Kim shares resources about the importance of interval training protocols that are much more than your average HIIT.
“For beginners starting Sprint 8, I would say just do what you can and pay attention to the Sweat Score,” Kim advises. The Sprint 8 Sweat Score, an in-program rating that measures the energy used during the workout, helps track progress by comparing members’ performance between sprints. Thanks to Kim’s promotion of Sprint 8, she gets to see the signature orange and green instructional screens all throughout both of her clubs, reflecting the strength of a fitness community built around Sprint 8.
